A tiny brass souvenir shield with raised NEW JERSEY lettering and a sunny beach scene. The source identifies this design as a vintage brass stamping measuring approximately 5/8 × 9/16 inch. Surviving vintage-finding listings document this same NEW JERSEY souvenir-shield format as an antiqued brass stamping with a beach scene. The original source pieces were made without stringing holes; this individual example has a punched opening at the top for adaptation to wear. Exact maker and production date remain unknown.
